Brilliant work on the Kinsella home page. Kept me amused, enthralled and engrossed for hours. Educational as well as the # 1 web site for the month of August in my book. Keep up the good work.

My name is Daniel James Kinsella. Has a nice ring to it don't you think? However, after finding out that Kinsella may mean "foul laugh" my pride is a bit damaged.

First I want to thank you for this homepage. I have gotten immense enjoyment out of it and plan to share the information with my parents and siblings. I came across the homepage in an Internet class and was so moved by the information that I got teary eyed (no kidding).

I have some family tree info and when I have the full story I will send it to you.

Merry Christmas from the Wilmslow Branch of the Kinsella clan. I have just put together a Kinsella Desktop Theme for Win95 Plus!, and I wondered if you'd like a copy of it. You could even add it as a download for the Homepage if you have enough server space.

* Cousin,

First thing is to say that thanks are in order for at least three things;

  1. Thanks for the second Kinsella Chronicle you sent me. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading both issues several times. W.P. Kinsella’s Christmas letter was an experience in and of itself! (I was mistaken for him last week as I was purchasing several Kinsella Coat-of-arms at an Irish shop in Alexandria, Va. I didn’t know he was as handsome as I am.)
  2. Thanks for the space on the Kinsella homepage. It’s an honor to be there. I continue to check in on the updates and links several times a week.
  3. Thanks to someone for that joke about the Irish brother who gave up stout for Lent. I’ve enjoyed telling it, and it gets better each telling.

My next focus is on how my first Kinselo/Kinselloe/Kinshello ancestors found their way to Virginia at such an unlikely time. This search will take me to Ireland, and the Summer of `98 is looking better all the time.
All the best Cousin,

Just found your page on the Web. My wife and I, with three children, live just outside Baltimore, MD. I do medical research for NIH. I grew up in Oneida, NY with five brothers and a sister. Our family had a reunion in Duck, NC this last summer and discussed another reunion in Ireland in the next few years. I think all of us would be interested in more information about a gathering of the clan and opportunities to research our roots.

I've just finished about 40 minutes of paging through the Kinsella Home Page. Thanks for creating such an excellent information source and great graphics.

Hello,
This is John Kinsella, London, UK. Good page. I knew my name was old but not that old. We originate from Dublin, father’s name is Charles Kinsella. Other than that I know nothing. My parents divorced when I was young. Very sad but I coped.

I have just read your page and am impressed. I will try to come back if I find anything of interest. As you see I live in Sweden with my family. Bye for now.

Hello,
I just found your great page today and wanted to inform you of another country lucky enough to have Kinsellas residing within her borders. My wife and daughter live in the province of "Noord Holland" in The Netherlands.

Jim,
My name is Patricia (Patti) Kinsella, wife of Kevin Kinsella, son of John Kinsella, from Illinois. My sister-in-law, Kevin's sister, told us of this Internet page. I am in the process of checking it out and wanted to let you know we were out here. This is going to be fun.
Be talking with you later.

I'm most impressed by your page. I grew up more or less in the shadow of Croghan Kinsella (on the Wicklow-Wexford border) which has haunted me since childhood. I'm currently writing a novel called The Water Star, which has its genesis in a story I wrote 25 years ago, and which has as two of its characters Brendan and Hugh Kinsella, of Croghan (though the novel is mostly set in London of the 1950s). I hasten to add that these characters are totally fictitious.
Anyway, all the best and congratulations on a very interesting page.

I always thought that commercial about the young boy and his grandfather in Scotland on the Internet was foolish. I live less than 20 minutes from you! I got a big kick out of finding the family crest on the Kinsella home page. I think organizing the Klan is an outstanding idea. The July meeting in Ireland was a very good start to that end. I'd like to sign up for the news letter.

Hi there! My name is James Warren Douglas Kinsella, of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, but you can just call me Warren. I was surfing and came across your site by chance. Glad I did.

I'm a lawyer and an author (of two books, one on terrorism, Unholy Alliances, and the other on racism, Web of Hate). I am married to Suzanne Elizabeth Amos-Kinsella, and we have one daughter, aged one, Emma Elizabeth Kinsella.
